If you’re looking for a new rifle, the G&G ARP 9 is a smart option.  It’s easy to handle, offers a great grip and it’s renowned for being highly accurate.  We were very excited to get our hands on this one, and we’re pleased to say that we spent enough time with it to be able to share with you what makes it so unique.

As you’ll see, the G&G ARP 9 is one of the best rifles on the market today.  By now, a lot of people have tried it out, and you can easily find many glowing reviews around the internet.  Not only did we test it out to try out its performance, but we also examined it very carefully so we could report back with everything you need to know regarding its many features, not to mention its aesthetic design and feel.

Frame and Aesthetics

Look – this Airsoft gun means business, and you can tell just by glancing at it.  The structure is definitely that of a more heavy-duty gun, and we know that you guys will love holding it in your hands. We’re pleased to report that it is very durable, and this is obvious just from handling it.  However, it’s not quite as heavy as similar models that we’ve handled, which may or not be a good thing, considering what your priorities are.  It’s definitely easy to carry, but some people like the feel of a heavier gun.

Additionally, a lot of people will want this gun because it’s one of the few 9mm models that you can bring to the field today.  That alone makes it a great addition to anyone’s collection, as this design provides a unique edge that can enhance your game.

Trigger

The grip and trigger are both up to our standards, which are admittedly pretty high.  It features a straight trigger, which is nice for those who want some extra leverage.  The trigger definitely makes this gun great for very fast shooting, which we know a lot of Airsoft fans find beneficial.  It’s got ambidextrous release, which we’re always happy to see since it’s a mistake to assume that Airsoft only appeals to right-handed players.

Internals

The G&G ARP 9 has a lot of great things going on that make it a highly upgradable piece of gear. It is 90% Tokyo Marui compatible with full metal gearbox, heat treated gearset, metal bushings and an electronic trigger (ETU) and 3 round burst programmable MOSFET. To the surprise of few, it’s got an adjustable hop-up, and adjusting it is surprisingly easy.  It’s an H-style hop-up, which deters vertical deviation.  The torque is also excellent.

How This Airsoft Gun Performs

So, now that you know the basic specs, let’s talk about how this gun performs.  For one thing, we noticed right away that it’s very accurate.  And, we mean very accurate.  The front and rear sights help out a lot, and we really had no trouble at all shooting from even over 125ft.  The lightness of the gun didn’t interfere with how steady it felt while we were shooting it.  Adjusting the hop-up was also no problem, although we found that we were happy with the performance on an adequate level even before having to make any adjustments.

The straight trigger also helped things out a lot, as we didn’t have to put all that much work into it.  We were delighted to find that it does, in fact, shoot very fast, which is great for more intense games.  We were able to find our target quickly and get the job done with minimal effort.

We also played around with the 3-round burst mode, which we have to say is a nice feature that we don’t see frequently enough.  It definitely made a difference, and we’re glad to know that this option is available since it brings something new to the table.

Bear in mind that this is a loud gun.  Now, a lot of you love when you hear that nice, big boom, so if you’re into that kind of thing, this gun certainly won’t disappoint.  You’ll likely find that it adds to the authenticity of the game.

Add This 9mm Rifle to Your Airsoft Collection

Overall, the G&G ARP-9 is really an excellent choice.  Between its ergonomic design, fast trigger response, accuracy and lightweight feel, we know that it’s got a lot of things that players are looking for.  We’re happy to say that we think it’s a fantastic choice for rifle fans, and it’s more than capable of giving you a competitive edge.  Additionally, it’s clearly a well-constructed option that players will likely get use out of for a long time to come.
