The G&G PRK9 airsoft rifle has been attracting a lot of attention, understandably given its sleek design and promise of a new and improved Airsoft experience.  This submachine gun is already being reviewed positively by those fortunate enough to get their hands on it, and we’re pleased to say that we are some of those lucky people.  Today, we’ll be breaking down everything you could possibly want to know about this highly anticipated model, and we’re pretty certain that you’ll like what we have to say.  We got to spend quite a bit of time with it, and we were absolutely delighted with what it has to offer.  Not only does it perform on an excellent level, but it also boasts a superior quality making it one of the more durable options out there for SMGs.

The Externals

We’ve heard a few groans over the price tag of the G&G PRK-9 airsoft rifle, but look – this is a real-deal build, and submachine guns are not your cheapest option in general.  We noticed right after taking it out of the box that it looks and feels extremely sturdy and reliable, so what you’re investing in is a high-quality choice that will certainly last you for a long time.  There’s also a foldable stock, if you’re into that kind of thing.

We were happy to report very little wobble, and the materials feel far from flimsy.  That’s not to say that the gun is excessively heavy – it’s definitely portable in the way that you want it to be.  It’s a bit compact, but that doesn’t have anything to do with what it’s capable of.  And, we really like its futuristic look.

The Internals

Now, we can move onto what’s inside this impressive build.  For one thing, it’s got the adjustable hop-up that you need to secure a solid win over your opponent.  It offers three firing options, as you’d expect with any legit SMG.  It’s an electric gun, so bear that in mind.  There’s a programmable MOSFET, which is what we’ve come to expect these days, and this one was made with performance in mind without a doubt.  There’s a full metal gearbox as well, which is always something that we look for, especially in this type of weapon.

The Trigger and Grip

This build is all about ergonomics, and you can tell from the look of the grip and the trigger.  The curved trigger feels great after long hours of target practice, and an ambidextrous mag release adds to the comfort of the overall design.

The Magazine

The gun is compatible with 40rd.

The Performance

So, let’s get into the action.  At first, we were a bit conservative with this gun, but we quickly found that it’s powerful and extremely precise.  The 330fps is perfect for the model, and we were pleased with the ease of shooting.  We didn’t have much trouble hitting our targets, which we admit we did for quite a while.  The accuracy tends to be the most important thing, so we’re happy to say that you won’t be disappointed in this area.

We also noticed that the relatively compact size added to the pleasure of using the PRK9.  It’s lightweight despite being so sturdy, and we didn’t feel like we were being weighed down by it as we continued to check out what it’s capable of.  Due to the lack of wobble, you’ll feel very secure handling this for a long time, and feel more confident as a player.  That’s a very important thing, obviously.

We didn’t get to the end of our ammo, but from what we understand, it’s very easy to replace because of the design mechanisms.  Overall, this is a good choice for SMG fans who are looking to upgrade their current collection.  It’s got what you need to enjoy a good game, period.
