A lot of Airsoft heads are talking about the KWA Ronin T10 Airsoft Gun, as well as how it compares to the older Ronin series.  Many have remarked on its appearance but have been asking us about whether or not its performance lives up to the hype.

We’ll dive into our experience with the KWA T10, as we were lucky enough to play with it for a while.  It’s got some really exceptional design elements, and its performance did not disappoint.

The Exterior

If you’re going into this to compare it to the Ronin 3, you’ll notice first that it’s lighter in terms of feel.  It’s also shorter, and in our opinion, that’s for efficiency. 

The M-lok rail really gives the gun a super modern and sophisticated aesthetic edge over similar models and is definitely capable of meeting your needs.  Other nice design elements include the brand’s new and improved PDW stock and muzzle brake. 

It’s clear right away that the T10 was designed with ergonomics being a huge priority, and all of that effort certainly paid off.  Handling this gun just feels good.  It fits great in all of the right places and is made for playing long games.  Also, the flip-up sights are a really nice touch.

The Internals

The internals of the KWA T10 airsoft rifle are basically the same as the Ronin 3.  It’s got an electronic trigger, a really nice recoil feature, and the gearbox design is the same, being a reinforced mechanical style.  The barrel length is a bit shorter than it is on similar models which aids in the speed of its performance.  It’s got a 380-400 fps velocity.  It operates at semi and full auto.  The kinetic feedback system is a feature that really takes things to a new level.

The Grip and Trigger

This is a company that is known for their great grips, and the T10 is no exception.  It feels very secure in the hand, and you have a sense that your hands can get really sweaty and still handle this thing really nicely.  Further, it’s a super comfortable grip to handle.

The trigger has the responsiveness that you want, and feels very sturdy while so many models have ones that feel a bit flimsy.

The Magazine

The gun comes with a 120rd magazine.

The Performance

Let’s get to the good part.  In terms of performance, this is not a gun that will let you down.  The electronic recoil definitely enhances the performance, and we’re certain that you’ll fall in love with it right away.  In semi auto mode, that kick really gives you a good rush of joy.  In automatic mode, the gun is super-fast – it’s as simple as that.  The speed is one of the main selling points, and it exceeds the hype.  Bear in mind that you need to make sure that your field allows it.  Here is where you’ll draw the conclusion that the shorter barrel really makes a difference.

As far as accuracy goes, we found that this guy is a true winner.  We had no problem shooting our targets, and definitely tested the limits in terms of distance.  It performed like a champ time and time again, to our absolute delight. This is one of the solid feeling airsoft guns that we have tested with a brand name that has a great track record of reliability.
